Our Mission is to Help Landscapers Thrive

Green Boss was born out of frustration. In 2018, our founder Mark Thompson was running his own landscaping business and struggling to keep up with the paperwork, scheduling, and client management while also working in the field.

After trying various software solutions that either weren't built for landscapers or were too complex and expensive, Mark teamed up with software developer Sarah Chen to create a solution specifically designed for the landscaping industry.

The first version of Green Boss launched in 2019 with a simple mission: to create software that was powerful enough to handle all aspects of a landscaping business but simple enough that anyone could use it without special training.

Since then, we've grown to serve thousands of landscaping businesses across North America, from solo operators to companies with dozens of employees. Our team has expanded to include former landscapers, software engineers, and customer support specialists who are passionate about helping landscaping businesses succeed.

Today, we continue to refine and improve Green Boss based on feedback from our customers, always staying true to our mission of creating software that makes running a landscaping business easier and more profitable.
